Pregnancy Monitoring Panel
Summary When a diagnosis of
immunologic factor contributing to reproductive failure is made,
subsequent pregnancies are monitored to ensure appropriate treatment.
Depending on specific immunotherapy, pregnancy monitoring includes
anti-phospholipid antibodies (APA) and reproductive immuno-phenotype (RIP)
as well as APTT and platelets, if heparin is being used.

Panel Tests Included Anti-phospholipid antibodies
(APA), reproductive
immuno-phenotype (RIP), activated PTT, and
platelets.

Specimen Collection and Shipping
Requirements
- Collect one (1) 10 ml red or tiger top tube and one (1) green top
tube, one (1) blue top tube and one (1) purple top tube.
- Ship at room temperature in prepaid FedEx mailers overnight, next
day morning.

Turn Around Time Processing of specimens
begins immediately upon receipt at our facilities. Results are routinely
available within 7 to 10 days and are initially faxed, then mailed to the
requesting physician.
